Mustang Valley Farm produces quality heritage tomato, vegetable, herb and flower plants in May and June; herb patio and window planters, vegetables and cut flowers throughout the season. Wanda Smith has been involved with farmers markets for the past twelve years, currently at Port Hope’s, and is a firm believer of supporting the local community. She has always had a large vegetable garden which supplied her, family and neighbours and naturally progressed to selling at markets. Heirloom tomatoes have been a passion since her first taste of a big, gnarly Brandywine! This year Wanda grew 22 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, and to complement them, a variety of herbs from Genovese basil to tarragon. She also makes preserves and natural dog biscuits.
